Very nice vintage condition. The music mechanism works and the bell plays “Silent Night.” Glitter coverage is still strong with only minimal loss typical of age. Velvet ribbon and bells are intact.
This vintage pull-string musical Christmas bell music box is made in Japan and plays Silent Night. The bell is covered in vintage mica glitter with gold braid trim and a soft velvet ribbon bow accented by three metal jingle bells. A hanging loop at the top would allow it to be displayed on a wall hook, garland, or door during the holiday season.
These mid-century musical decorations were produced in Japan for export to the U.S. during the 1950s–1960s and are a charming example of classic vintage Christmas decor.
